Our Frozen "Sweet" Bitter Leaves (Onugbu) are specially selected from a variety that offers a milder flavor profile compared to the wild, extremely bitter types. These leaves undergo a rigorous traditional washing and squeezing process to remove the excess bitterness while retaining their medicinal properties and unique "sweet" aftertaste. They are then sliced and flash-frozen to ensure they are ready for your pot at a moment's notice.
